Police Operations

A citizen is most familiar with the Patrol unit of a police agency. This is the primary contact they will have with the police. 

Patrol Unit
      The Patrol Commander manages 3 shifts which consist of:

      1st Shift
           --   2 Sergeants
           -- 10 Patrol Officers
           --   2 Community Service Officer

 

      2nd Shift

--   2 Sergeants
-- 11 Patrol Officers
--   2 Community Service Officer

 

      3rd Shift

--   2 Sergeants
--   9 Patrol Officers

 

Investigations Unit

The Investigations unit consists of:
--  1 Commander
--  1 Sergeant
--  4 Investigators

--  2 Tactical Officers
--  1 Junior High School Liaison Officer

--  1 High School Liaison Officer

      

 

Community Service Officer

Community Service Officers (CSO) are assigned to the day and evening shifts. They handle the Police Service Desk, non-emergency reports, animal complaints, parking enforcement, abandoned vehicles, car seat inspections, and vehicle lockouts.
