Community Service Officers

A Community Service Officer (CSO) is a non-sworn civilian who is highly skilled in several areas that typical police officers are not, including animal control and car seat safety inspections.

Functions

  • CSOs handle non-emergency calls freeing the patrol officers for emergency calls and criminal investigations.
