Assistance Programs
Northwest Housing Partnership
Loan Programs: Qualified home owners may be eligible for a 0% interest deferred loan up to a maximum amount of $25,000 with no monthly payments as long as the homeowner lives in and retains title to the home.
To qualify for a loan at the minimum you must:
- Own and live in the home you wish to repair.
- Do not have money to pay for needed repairs.
- Have a total family income (before deductions) that is
listed in the table provided by the NWHP.
Types of Improvements that can be made:
- Basic structural repairs
- Roofing
- Doors and Windows
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Heating
- Weatherization
Every loan application will be considered and homes will be inspected by a building inspector and NWHP staff. If you qualify, you will be assisted with the entire rehabilitation process by the NWHP staff.

Christmas in April is a community-based program dedicated to helping low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners live in warmth, safety and independence. This national organization brings skilled and unskilled volunteers together one day each year to provide home repairs for those who are physically or financially unable to maintain their homes.
