2013 Holiday Refuse Schedule

The City’s Refuse Division observes the following holidays. Collection services will be delayed by one day
if the holiday is on a weekday.

Memorial Day	Monday, May 27
Independence Day	Thursday, July 4
Labor Day	Monday, September 2
Thanksgiving Day	Thursday, November 28
Christmas Day	Wednesday, December 25

City’s Chipper Service No Longer Offered

As part of ongoing cost containment strategies, the City will no longer provide seasonal Chipper service. Last year, the Department offered fee-based pickups for residents upon request, but demand for the service was minimal. Public Works will continue to provide City-wide brush and branch pick up after major storms.

Along with all related activities to provide for the highest levels of service at the most cost effective means possible.
