As Chief of Police for the City of Rolling Meadows, it is an honor and a privilege to welcome you to this website. The men and women of the Police Department are dedicated to serving and safeguarding this outstanding community which is "A Great Place to Call Home." The entire staff of the Police Department serves with integrity, honor, and compassion. 

We feel strongly that by establishing a partnership with the community, we, together as a team, can create an environment where those who live, work, or visit this beautiful city can be safe and enjoy all the benefits this city has to offer.

Our promise to the City of Rolling Meadows is proudly displayed on our police uniform patch. We are "Dedicated to Excellence".

We are currently accepting applications for the Citizens Police Academy.

The Rolling Meadow Police Department will be hosting a Citizen Police Academy for residents interested in learning more about the Police Department and its operations. The six-week program will begin in March and takes place at the Police Department located at 3600 Kirchoff Rd. Rolling Meadows Illinois. Classes will be held on Thursdays from 6pm-8pm.

Topics covered will include: History of Police Department and Tour of the Station, Use of Force/ Firearms Training, Crime Scene Investigation, Canine Operations, 911 Dispatch Operations and Crime Scene Investigations. The Citizen Police Academy is intended to enhance communications between Community members and the police. In addition, it is intended to expand community relations and for the students to gain a better understanding on how a police department works and operates.

The Citizen Police Academy is open to anyone who lives or works in Rolling Meadows and is over the age of 18. Space is limited to approximately 20 individuals.
